Juventus have made contact with Manchester United over a potential deal for Romelu Lukaku, according to reports in Italy.
Lukaku has made it clear he’s open to new challenges away from Old Trafford with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer set to begin the 2019/20 campaign with Marcus Rashford as United’s lead striker.
The 26-year-old forward has reportedly agreed personal terms to join Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan this summer, but United are yet to reach a deal over his transfer to the San Siro.
Sky Sport Italia reported that Juventus have approached United to ask about the availability of Lukaku as they consider hijacking Inter’s move for the Belgian.
Maurizio Sarri is looking to bolster Juve’s attacking options after the club brought in Adrien Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey, Merih Demiral, Luca Pellegrini and Gigi Buffon.
It's now left to be seen if Romelu Lukaku will favour a move to Inter Milan or Juventus where he will have the chance to play along side with Manchester United's Legend, Cristiano Ronaldo.
