The President of Omega Fire Ministries World Wide, Apostle Suleman has fired back to those calling him out for not donating money to the federal government of Nigeria to help combat the spread of COVID-19.

Following the spread of coronavirus in Nigeria, which has led to the total showdown of economic activities in some areas of the country. Many prominent Nigerians have been offering and donating huge amounts of money to the government to assist in curbing the spread of the deadly virus which has killed lots of people in Italy, the US, and Spain.

Instead of donating into the government account, Apostle Suleman decided to share money to Nigerians via his social media handle, a move that prompted a lot of people insulting and calling him names.

Responding to this via his Twitter handle, Apostle Suleman asked why he should give to the federal government? when they are not hungry, saying that he rather give to the poor and needy.

He wrote:

"I hear people are calling me out for not giving money to govt to combat covid 19..govt is not hungry, why shld I give them?..God will reward my wife and I for the hundreds of millions we have given this period.we give to the poor directly..giving is for the needy not the greedy."

However, many Nigerians have taken to social media to share testimonies after receiving a cash alert from the Man of God.
