The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that Nigeria recorded a total of 184 new cases of COVID-19 across it isolation centres nationwide, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 4971.
The centre gave this report via it verified Twitter @NCDCgov, where it also gave the total breakdown of cases per states, as Lagos State still lead the chart with 2041 total number of confirmed cases, followed by Kano with 707 total number of confirmed cases
According to the NCDC, 51 new cases were recorded in Lagos State, 23 in Jigawa, 16 in Bauchi, 16 in Katsina, 14 in Kano, 10 in FCT, 10 in Rivers, 9 in Kwara, 5 in Delta, 5 in Kaduna, 4 in Sokoto, 4 in Oyo, 3 new cases were recorded in Kebbi, Nasarawa, and Osun State respectively, 2 in Ondo, 1 case was reported in Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Anambra, Plateau, and Niger respectively.
From the report, Anambra State has now recorded one new case of the ravaging coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing the total confirmed cases in the state to two (2).
Nigeria now has 4971 (Four thousand, nine hundred and seventy-one) total number of confirmed cases, with 1070 (One thousand and seventy) patients treated and discharged, and 164 death cases recorded in the country so far.
