Breaking - Nigeria Records 389 New Cases Of COVID-19, 256 In Lagos Alone, Total Now 8733

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has released a fresh update on the number of COVID-19 new cases recorded in Nigeria.  The health management centre on Wednesday Night, announced that Nigeria recorded 389 new cases of the ravaging virus, out of the recorded number, Lagos State recorded 256, while 5 new death cases were reported.  The centre made this known in a tweet via it verified Twitter page, @NCDCgov, where it also gave the breakdown of the new cases recorded per states.  According to NCDC, Lagos State recorded massively this time, with 256 cases reported, 23 in Katsina, 22 in Edo, 14 in Rivers, 13 in Kano, 11 in each of Adamawa and Akwa-Ibom, 7 in Kaduna, 6 in each of Kwara and Nasarawa, 2 in each of Gombe, Plateau, Abia, Delta, Benue, Niger, Kogi, Oyo, and 1 case in each of Imo, Borno, Ogun, and Anambra State.

Nigeria has now recorded a total number of 8,733 (Eight thousand, seven hundred and thirty-three) confirmed cases of COVID-19, 2,501 (Two thousand, five hundred and one) infected patients have been treated and discharged, with a total number of 254 deaths cases recorded so far.
