Kaduna State government announced that it has successfully treated and discharged 35 Almajiri patients from its isolation centres after their COVID-19 test results came out negative.
The northern state confirmed this via its verified Twitter page, where it stated that 35 more COVID-19 patients were discharged from the state's isolation centres and all of the discharged patients happen to be Almajarai.
According to the report, the state now has a total number of 47 active COVID-19 cases, having discharged 63 patients across its isolation centres and with four death cases recorded so far in the state.
The tweet reads;
"35 more patients, all of them almajirai, have been discharged having tested negative. The state now has 47 active Covid-19 cases, having discharged 63 persons and recorded four fatalities."
As at the time of compiling this report, Nigeria has recorded a total number of 5162 (Five thousand, one hundred and sixty-two) confirmed cases of the ravaging coronavirus (COVID-19), with 1180 (One thousand, one hundred and eighty) infected persons treated and discharged across the country, and a total number of 167 (One hundred and sixty-seven) death cases recorded so far.
