Mercy may be heard saying in the video, "I'm out of the grasp of beaches (bit*hes)." Her Igbotic accent was ridiculed by readers of these blogs.

Reacting to this, Mercy tweeted;

“These blogs can run with whatever makes them sleep well at night for traffic, but no shades over here. just a blessed woman living life. Unapologetic 😍"
