Manchester United have agreed personal terms in principle with Lyon midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele and will have to convince the French side to agree on the transfer.
Ndombele has also been linked with a move to Tottenham, but the Red Devils appear to be winning the race for the 22-year-old who have said that he will love to play in a big team in England.
According to reports, a 'contractual agreement' has been reached for him to join the Old Trafford side.
Man United are now set to open talks with Lyon, though their €60m offer is well below the French side's €90 valuation of the player.
United will have to increase their offer for the player in other to price him out from the French giants.
Manchester United have really been lacking in the midfield lately, with the likes of Fred, McTominay, and Nemanja Matic not leaving up to expectation.
Paul Pogba has been sidelined for a long spell due to injury, and United will need the service of the 22-year-Old Ndombele to help boost their midfield so as to compete for top four.
