Reno Omokri, a former aide to Nigerian Ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has come out to defend himself amids accusations that he pocketed money made from the book and T-shirts produced under the name 'Leah Sharibu'
Omokri who is the author of the said book 'Leah Sharibu' took to the his tweeter handle to make it known to the public that the #1million Naira made from the sale of his book 'Leah Sharibu' and the T-shirts made in respect of the fight to free Leah Sharibu was sent directly to her parents account.
He went on to disclose that those sponsoring this allegation wants him to stop the fight to free the girl 'Leah Sharibu' who was adopted and detained for not renouncing her belief on Christianity.
He wrote:
"I made exactly #1 million from my book Leah Sharibu: The money spent only 5 minutes in my account."At the 5th minute, it was transferred to Leah's mother.The transaction was verified by Kaduna state CAN Chairman, Rev J Hayab."
