Manchester United have officially announced that they have reached a deal to sign Daniel James from Swansea City.
James will become the first signing of the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's era, as the Premier League side prepare for a busy transfer market after finishing sixth last season.
Manchester United agreed the deal which worth £18 million plus add-ons for the pacey 21-years old.
The Welsh winger traveled to United's Carrington training ground yesterday to conduct his medical, before rejoining his international teammates for their match against Croatia in the ongoing European Championship qualification.
The statement read:
"Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed, in principle, terms with both Swansea and Daniel James for his transfer to the club."
James will be expected to bring his pace and skills into play to fill the voids left by club legend Ryan Giggs when the Premier League resumes.
