Popular American rapper, Eminem has marked a significant achievement as he celebrates 12 years of being spotless from chronic drug use.
The 47-year-old rapper conceived Marshall Mathers, praised 12 years of clean living on Monday, and regarded it with a photograph of his new collectedness mint piece.
"Clean dozen, in the books! I'm not afraid," he captioned the Instagram picture, referencing his tune "Not Afraid," which explains his fight with addiction and recuperation.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper has consistently been real about his battles with Vicodin, Ambien, Valium, and methadone. In 2007, he overdosed on methadone subsequent to taking unremarkable blue pills that he got from somebody.
Eminem said this during an interview with the New York Times in 2010:
"I didn't know it was methadone. I used to get pills any place I might."I was simply taking whatever anyone was providing for me."
He acknowledged his children for helping him remain calm. He shares daughter, Hailie Mathers, 24, with ex Kim Scott, 45, notwithstanding his embraced niece, Alaina Scott, and Kim's girl from a past relationship, Whitney Scott Mathers.
