Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved the sum of N500,000 to be paid as bursary to each Oyo State Indegene at the law school.
The governor disclosed this via his official Twitter handle, where he stated that his state indegenes at the Nigerian Law School visited him and he has approved the sum of N500,000 as bursary to those in the Law School as a way to boost their zeal for education.
Representatives of Oyo State Indegenes At the Nigerian Law School visited the governor to pay their respect and show their loyalty to the governor.
MackenzieSkyBlog understands that discussions between the two parties led the governor to decide on giving each Indegene of Oyo State in the Law School the sum of N500,000 as bursary.
The governor added that his administration will continue to prioritize education as the foundation upon which sustainable development will be built.
