The Headies (originally called the Hip Hop World Awards), which is the 13th Annual HEADIES AWARD Tagged 'THE POWER OF DREAM' saw both Nigerian established and promising artists vying for The Headies award tonight.
Already Burna Boy has the highest number of nominations in 10 categories which may work in his favour as he heads into the award night with the other big.

- Headies Viewer's Choice - Teni
- Best Music Video - Clarence Peters (Dangote)
- Hip Hop World Revelation - Mayorkun
- Best Album of the year - Falz (Moral Instructions)
- Best Producer of the year - Killertunes (Fake love)
- Next Rated Award - Rema (Dumebi)
- Best Artist of the year - Burna Boy
BBNaija 2019 winner and first runner up Mercy and Mike, were called upon to present the award for Headies Viewer's Choice.
Tacha and Venita were also called upon to present the award for Best Music Video.
The award ceremony is a music awards show established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry.
