Kogi Poll - Dino Melaye Mourns As His Nephew Was Shot Dead In His Polling Unit

Dino Melaye, the senator representing Kogi-west senatorial district in the senate was seen shading tears after the sad news of the death of his Nephew got to him.

MackenzieSkyBlog earlier announced that Dino Melaye delivered his pooling unit to PDP, after winning the opposition party APC with a large margin.

In the wake of his celebration, a tragedy struck in as the violence which took over the governorship and senatorial elections pool unit in Kogi state resulted in the death of the senator's nephew.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the re-run for the legislative seat, Melaye confirmed the death of Olorunjuwon early on Sunday, November 17, via his verified Twitter handle saying that the deceased paid the ultimate price for the liberation of the Kogi people. 

"My nephew Olorunjuwon who was shot at my pooling unit yesterday died this morning. My brother your death is a Supreme sacrifice in the struggle for the liberation of our people. Rest in peace aburo... So sad," Melaye mourned.
