Just In - Gunmen Invades Jonathan's House, 3 Gunmen & A Soldier Died In The Process

An Unknown gunmen invaded former Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan's resident at Otueke, killed a soldier on guard duty.

The attack took place at the courtyard of the former President situated close to the bank of the river at Otuoke, Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

Mackenzieskyblog   gathered that about three of the gunmen were killed by the soldiers, who foiled their attempt to break into the house.

One of the sources, who spoke in confidence, said the gunmen came through the river on five speedboats and opened fire on the soldiers.

The source said: 

“Armed men who came in about five boats attacked the home of former President Jonathan. A security personal attached to the former president was killed and about three of the gunmen were shot dead.”

The youth leader of the area who spoke in confidence, lauded the efforts of the soldiers who fought back, but he described the attack as disturbing following the death of one of the soldiers.
