Newly signed AC Milan and Sweden striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has sent a strong message to Juventus attacker Christiano Ronaldo, telling him to be ready for an exciting competition ahead.

The 38-year-old said this after being presented by AC Milan on Friday, signing a deal that will keep him until the end of the season with an option for extension.

The former Manchester United and LA Galaxy star also said that he knows what to do in Serie A, adding that 'you have to suffer to be the best', having spent two seasons with AC Milan in 2010 and 2012.

He said: 

"I know what I have to do, Zlatan is still here. The duel with Cristiano Ronaldo will be exciting."

He added that the Italian league is a very tough league and only those who are ready to suffer can end up being the best.

"You have to suffer, those who don't know how to suffer can't be the best. I will get meaner and meaner, I expect a lot from my teammates too," he added

Ibrahimovic will now hope to lead AC Milan to victory against Sampdoria at San Siro on Monday.
