Manchester United has agreed on a deal to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder, Bruno Fernandes after prolonged negotiation with the Club's official.

Having been linked with Manchester United for a prolonged period, Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes is now nearing a move to the theatre of dreams.

Manchester United has also announced that it has reached an agreement with Sporting Lisbon for the transfer of Bruno Fernandes, subject to medical.

The statement reads: 

"Manchester United is delighted to announced it has reached agreement with Sporting Clube de Portugal for the transfer of Bruno Fernandes.

"The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms.

"A further announcement will be made in due course."

MackenzieSkyBlog gathered that Manchester United beats off Spanish giant, Barcelona to the signature of the attacking midfielder.

Barcelona was understood to have entered the race for Bruno's signature and planned to loan him to Valencia for the rest of the season. But, it is now Manchester United who has finally won his signature following a prolonged negotiation with Sporting Lisbon officials.

United fans will be delighted they have finally got their man who they have been chasing since last summer.

Fernandes becomes the fourth player to join United from Sporting Lisbon, following in the footsteps of Nani, Marcos Rojo, and club legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
