The Nigeria Centre for Disease Cotrol (NCDC) has announced an increase in the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The NCDC announced that 11 cases were reported in Lagos state, 3 cases were reported in FCT Abuja, 2 cases in Osun State, and only 1 case was reported in Ondo State, making it 20 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
NCDC tweeted:
"Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 11 in Lagos, 3 in the FCT, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun & 1 in Ondo."Two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo State."As at 10:30 pm 3rd April there are 210 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria."
Even with the on going shutdown in Lagos State, Ogun State, and Abuja, that led to the citizen observing a compulsory 14 days 'stay at home', yet the number of cases kept increasing gradually.
Two new deaths are recorded in Lagos and Edo State, with twenty-five cases discharged.
This brings the entire number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 210.
