Breaking - NCDC Confirms 323 New Cases Of COVID-19, 148 In Lagos Alone, 5 Death

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria keeps increasing daily as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control  (NCDC) recently released a fresh update of the number of cases recorded in the country on Sunday 24th May, 2020.  The disease control centre made the announcement a tweet via it verified Twitter page @NCDCgov, where it disclosed that 313 new cases of the ravaging virus were recorded across the country, bringing the total infectious cases in the country to 7,839 (Seven thousand, eight hundred and thirty nine).  According to the NCDC, out of the 313 new cases recorded, Lagos State recorded 148 new cases alone, bringing the total infections in the state to 3,505.

According to the NCDC, out of the 313 new cases recorded, Lagos State recorded 148 new cases alone, bringing the total infections in the state to 3,505.

Other states which recorded new cases include; FCT Abuja (36), Rivers (27), Edo (19), Kano (13), Ogun (12), Ebonyi (11), Nasarawa (8), Delta (8), Oyo (7), Plateau (6), Kaduna (5), Kwara (4), Akwa-Ibom and Bayelsa recorded (3) each, Niger (2), and Anambra (1).

MackenzieSkyBlog understands that Nigeria has now recorded a total number of 7,839 COVID-19 cases, 2,263 infected persons have been treated and discharged, with 226 death cases recorded so far.
