Breaking - Nigeria Records 328 New Cases Of COVID-19, 10 Deaths, Total Now 11,844

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has given a fresh update on the new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria on a daily basis.

The health management centre reported that on Friday, 5th May 2020, Nigeria recorded 328 new cases of COVID-19 across its isolation centres. 

The centre disclosed that out of the recorded figure, Lagos State alone recorded 121 new cases, FCT Abuja recorded 70, Bauchi-25, Rivers-18, Oyo-16, Kaduna-15, Gombe-14, Edo-13, Ogun-13, Jigawa-8, Enugu-6, Kano-5, Osun-2, and Ondo-2.

According to the NCDC, in the space of 24 hours, 161 patients were discharged from Isolation centres and 10 new death cases were recorded.

From this report, Mackenzieskyblog understands that Nigeria has now recorded a total number of 11,844 (eleven thousand, eight hundred and forty-four) confirmed cases of Coronavirus(COVID-19), with 3696 (Three thousand, six hundred and ninety-six) infected persons treated and discharged, and 333 (Three hundred and thirty-three) death cases recorded so far.
