The Ghana Health Service through the Ministry of Health, Ghana announced that Ghana recorded 397 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 12,590.
The health management center disclosed this in a tweet via its official Twitter page @mohgovgh, where it stated that the country's COVID-19 death tolls have jumped to 66.
According to the report, Ghana has now recorded a total of 12,590 (Twelve thousand, five hundred and ninety) confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), 8,114 (Eight thousand, one hundred and one) active cases, 4,410 (Four thousand, four hundred and ten) infected patient has recovered and discharged, while 66 people have died so far.
This burgeoning news platform understands that Ghana now sits third on the list of Africa countries with the highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, after Nigeria (17,148 cases/455 deaths) and South Africa (80,412 cases/1674 deaths).
