The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has released a fresh update on the daily COVID-19 cases recorded in Nigeria by states on Thursday 23rd July 2020.
The health management centre on disease control made the announcement in a tweet via it official Twitter page @NCDCgov, where it stated that Nigeria recorded 604 new cases of the ravaging coronavirus and also gave a breakdown of the recorded cases by states.
According to the NCDC, Lagos State recorded 203 new cases, Oyo-87, FCT-79, Edo-41, Osun-35, Ogun-24, Rivers-22, Kaduna-22, Akwa Ibom-20, Plateau-18, Delta-9, Ebonyi-9, Imo-8, Enugu-5, Kano-5, Cross River-5, Katsina-4, Nasarawa-3, Borno-2, Ekiti-2, and Bauchi-1 case.
The centre also went further to give a detailed explanation of the previous report it announced on the number of death cases recorded in Lagos State
