Controversial Nigerian investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has offered media personality Toke Makinwa free accommodation as rumor making rounds alleged that she reportedly lost possession of her Banana Island house to Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).
It came as a surprise to social media users when reports came in that Toke Makinwa's house in Banana Island which was allegedly given to her by her “sugar daddy”, Lagos-based oil and gas businessman, Dr. Festus Fadeyi was seized by AMCON over an unpaid N240 billion debt.
However, Toke Makinwa took to her social media handle to debunk the claims insinuating that the rumors aren’t true hence claiming she is moving on with her life.
US-trained investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo while reacting to the rumor via her official IG account asked those shading and mocking Toke Makinwa for losing her home in Banana Island to stop as homelessness and housing crisis are normal issues people face in Nigeria.
According to her, the situation the media personality finds herself isn’t funny and instead she offers to accommodate her until she can fix herself up.
"@Tokemakinwa darling, I live in a brand new rented flat, nice and clean in Sangotedo. Come and move in with me till you settle elsewhere. Love you much dear."People should stop shading her, homelessness and housing crisis are still an issue in the city. It's not funny," she said.
