Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Prince, and Dorathy have revealed why BBNaija season 6 housemate, Jaypaul didn't join them in the previous edition of the reality Tv show.
Recall that JayPaul told his fellow housemates that he was asked to leave just 45 minutes from joining last year’s lockdown edition.
He, however, did not disclose to the housemates why he was asked to leave but he stated that he was sure his bags had entered the Big Brother Naija house.
Jaypaul added that it was a difficult period for him at the time but his family stood by him and comforted him.
However, during an Instagram live video with Kiddwaya on Friday, Prince and Dorathy disclosed that Jaypaul was turned back because he was infected with COVID-19.
“Jaypaul is the guy that was turned back few minutes to the live show. I think the reason was that he had COVID-19,″ Dorathy said.
According to Prince, the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate (Jaypaul) was replaced by the ‘lockdown housemate’, Trickytee.
In his words,
“Yeah, he was replaced with Trickytee.”
Kiddwaya, who appeared surprised by the news, wondered if the 'lockdown' housemates would have all been infected if the disease hadn't been discovered before the show began.
