The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila has ordered the evacuation of Nigerians citizens, including students from Russia and Ukraine.
The Nigerian executive arm of government received a backlash from Nigerians when it first published an embarrassing statement, stating that the Nigerian citizens should stay safe, and keep calm, without mentioning any form of evacuation
However, the House of reps has offered to shoulder the immediate evacuation of Nigerians, students from Ukraine.
In a statement published on Twitter;
“Breaking! @HouseNGR offer to shoulder immediate evacuation of Nigerians, students from Ukraine”

Over 1500 students are studying in Ukraine and are listless, and isolated.
