Funke Akindele |
Nigerians have taken to social media to call on the federal government of Nigeria to apologize to Funke Akindele and refund her money immediately after disobeying the social distancing directives while laying Abba Kyari to rest.
MackenzieSkyBlog recalls that the popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele was arrested and charged to court for violating the social distance order when celebrating her husband's birthday early last month.
The body of the late Chief of Staff, Malam Abba Kyari, was laid to rest at Gudu Cemetery, Abuja with lots of people in attendance. The body while being moved from the ambulance by NCDC staff, safety measures were observed; hand gloves and sanitizers were being shared, as all cleaned their hands and wore gloves.
Not minding the safety measures observed during the burial ceremony, Nigerians took to social media claiming that the Nigerian government and NCDC are intentionally spreading the virus all over the country by not observing the social distance rules during Kyari's burial.
They said that all those that were present at the burial ceremony must be arrested and persecuted the same way they did to Funke Akindele.
