Ex BBNaija Housemate, Khafi Shares Tips On How To Get Into The Big Brother Naija House

Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Kafi Kareem has come out to reveal the secrets behind being nominated into the Big Brother Naija house this year.

Kafi decided to make the video in other to respond to participants flocking her DM on Instagram, asking her series of questions on how to get into the Big Brother Naija Season 4 reality TV show.

According to her, as soon as the Big Brother audition date was announced, in the space of 3 hours, she got about 50 direct messages from potential participants asking her questions on tips to get into the Big Brother Naija house.

Taking to her YouTube channel, Khafi made a short video where she gave tips on how to get into the reality TV show, Big Brother Naija website where participants can log in and do their audition, what and what not do, and the basic criteria required to get into the show.

Read her statement below:

"I've got tips for you, it has been announced that the BBNaija Season 4 auditions are now open again and in the space of 3 hours as soon as it was announced I received 50 direct messages from participants asking me how to join or get into the house.

"Ma will you support me, will you tell me tips and strips? I decided to do a video to answer all of dat questions on how to become a BBNaija housemate.

"You should know that what you are getting themselves into...no be small thing oo

But, it's definitely something special, something really special.

"Bear in mind that big brother doesn't make you rich and famous, it will not make you rich, it will make you famous, even the winner does not always come out rich. To me being rich is not just money, but being wealthy. 

"BBNaija will make you known, however what you do with that platform is completely down to you.

"Big Brother will only put your face out there, give you a platform but what you do with the platform is completely down to you. 

"You shouldn't go in the show with the mentality that Big Brother will make you rich so you don't get disappointed, or hang your whole life on big brother. You are already a great person of value, the Big Brother realiy TV show doesn't need to validate that for you.

"Wether you get in or not, you are enough!

"Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the big brother audition will not be done as usual, but online and this could be the best thing that has happen to the big brother Naija platform, because it will make it easier for people not to be standing on queue or avoid being seen."

What To Do

"To participate in the audition this year, Login to africa.magic.tv/bbauditions then you upload a 2 minutes video introducing yourself. Tell big brother why you should be in the house this season and its open from 20th to 30th of May 2020. And auditions are free.

"You have to be yourself, do not try to fake who you're not because in the house you can not hide.

"When doing the video, do it in a well neat environment. You want the people auditioning you to see you well, let them see you well, let them see your face properly. Look pretty, put your face as you normally do, look nice, look presentable like you're going for a job interviews, be inventive.

"Do a video that set you apart because more people will be participating in the auditions this year because it's Coronavirus season and everyone is at home.

"Be honest about yourself,  do not lie.

"Follow the big brother Naija instructions."

What Not To Do

"Don't think that somebody can get you into the house, as there is no such thing as somebody who know somebody that knows somebody that will get you into the house.

"In my case, i did not know anybody, I didn't pay anyone to get into the Big Brother house. It's not true that you need to know somebody before you get into the house. Anybody that asks you to pay money, it's a scam."

Basic Criteria

"You need a Nigerian passports.

"If you're under 21, you're not getting into the Big Brother Naija house."

She advised that participants should try and put their best foot forward because it's really a life-changing opportunity as she met her husband during the show.

Khafi promised to release another video for those who will make it to the next stage of the auditioning.

She wishes everyone participating in the show good luck as she discloses that she never had any regrets being a member of the Big Brother Naija season 3 housemates
