The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has just released a report on the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country, the highest daily reported number of cases since it origin was announced.
Taking to it official tweeter handle, NCDC Announced that eighty-six confirmed cases of COVID-19 was reported today. 70 in Lagos State, 7 in Abuja, 3 in Katsina, 3 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Jigawa, 1 in Bauchi, and 1 in Borno. Taking the tally from 541 to 627 in Nigeria.
The number of discharged patients is now 170, with 21 death cases recorded.
This result happens to be the highest number of confirmed cases recorded within a day in Nigeria.
