"I Have Not Been Freed From COVID-19 Yet" - El Rufai

Against the previous theories that Governor Nasir Ahmed El-Rufa'i of Kaduna State has been restored of Coronavirus Disease, the Governor on Wednesday said the rumor should be ignored as he is still positive of the infection. 

The Governor, who uncovered this on his Twitter handle Wednesday evening, additionally revealed that he led the State Executive Council meeting through a video gathering. 

Senator El-Rufa'i asked Nigerians and individuals of Kaduna State specifically to overlook counterfeit news over his status, saying that he will personally make it open when he is freed from the illness. 

According to the Governor; 

"Prior today, somewhere in the range of 10am and 2pm, I took few hours during my isolation and led a virtual gathering of the State Executive Council. 

"I have not been freed from COVID-19 yet. I will personally declare when I am affirmed negative. If you don't mind overlook all fale news regardless of whether they are what you wish for." 

El-Rufa'i complimented his Deputy, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, individuals from the State Executive and consultants for keeping the State running in his absence. 

"I am thankful to our group capably drove by the Deputy Governor for propping the motivation up without me. I am overly glad for every one of our commissioner, advisers, partners, security organizations and other state government authorities for a job well done." said El-Rufa'i.
