'What My Father Did To Me When I Tried To Drop Out Of School In JSS2' - Actor, Yul Edochie Reveals

Nollywood star actor, Yul Edochie, son of the legendary Nollywood veteran, Pete Edochie has taken back to memory lane to recall an interesting scenario that occurred between him and his father while growing up.

The actor revealed how his father reacted when he approached him on the basis of leaving school for a skilled job when he was in JSS2.

Yul revealed an interesting story via his Twitter page, where he narrated how he went to his father and told him that he wants to drop out of school in other to pursue his dream of being an electrician.

According to him, his father calmly invited him to his room,  pulled out his belt, and gave a beating he will never forget in his lifetime.

In his tweet, Yul thanked his father for leading him to the right path, as he's now proud of the man he is today.

He wrote:

“In JS2, I told my father I didn’t want to go to school anymore, he should open electrical shop for me.

“He said ok. He Invited me to his room, locked the door & pulled out his belt.

“He gave me a beating that reset my brain to factory setting. Look at me today.

“Thank you Dad!.”
